+ BACKGROUND

Adam practices civil and commercial litigation with a focus on real-estate disputes, shareholder disputes, employment law and construction law. He has appeared before the Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Court of Appeal, and various other tribunals, boards and forums. Adam joined Sutherland Law as an associate after beginning his practice with a prominent litigation boutique in Toronto.

Adam received an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from York University where he majored in Finance. While at law school, Adam competed in a variety of moot competitions and was president of the Minute Moot Club; an extracurricular organization focused on improving the advocacy skills of law students.

Outside of law, Adam participates in a number of sports and is a proud member of the Bay Street Pigs RFC, who play in the Toronto Rugby Union.
