+ BACKGROUND
Lien is an associate at Sutherland Law, practicing civil and commercial litigation, with a focus on construction law. Lien received her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2018. Lien developed her client advocacy skills during law school, volunteering at courthouse-based legal clinics, providing summary legal advice to self-represented litigants and assisting them with navigating the legal system.
Prior to joining Sutherland Law, Lien practiced family law in a broad range of complex matters, representing clients before various levels of court including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice.
When not in the office, Lien enjoys being active and attending barre and yoga classes.
